CeraSeal is a calcium silicate - based bioceramic root canal sealer designed for permanent obturation of the root canal system. Its premixed formula ensures consistent handling, excellent sealing ability, and superior biocompatibility for predictable endodontic outcomes.
Moisture within dentinal tubules reacts with calcium silicates, producing calcium hydroxide crystallisation. This process forms a tight hermetic seal inside the canal system and helps prevent bacterial reinfection.
With a high alkaline pH (>12), CeraSeal provides strong antimicrobial activity, helping eliminate bacteria remaining in the root canal system.
CeraSeal maintains a stable volume with no shrinkage or expansion during the setting process, reducing the risk of microleakage and long-term treatment failure.
The optimised setting time reduces the risk of wash-out, particularly in canals with exudate or moisture present.
